Bat Trang Pottery Village: Bat Trang Pottery Village is situated in the center of Red river delta. It is famous for its ceramics for over a thousand years, specifically dinnerware & ornamental ware. The Bat Trang producers export ceramic goods annually of $40 million a year. It is the leading city producing and making pottery. The combination of skilled potting with somewhat natural finish, calligraphic painting and certain organic effects in glazing are all qualities typical of Vietnamese ceramics.
Van Phuc Silk Village: Van Phuc Silk Village is renowned for its traditional weaving along with quality silk products. It holds pride to be the origin of the best silk & silk-making industry of Vietnam. Even though while facing difficulties during the recent years, the village’s craft enjoys revival because of the surging demand for silk in both the domestic as well as the foreign markets. Especially, a traditional type of silk called Van Silk made in Van Phuc which make the wearers feel cool in summer & warm in winter. It is specifically known as ‘Town of Silk’ due to its specialty. This is a 20-30min drive in a taxi from Hanoi centre.
Phu Vinh Bamboo Village: Phu Vinh Bamboo Village is known as one of the famous traditional handicraft villages. It is administratively divided into four hamlets; Dam Bung, Go Dau, Ha & Thuong. This had lead to offer traditional handicraft employment opportunity to over 99% of its 605 households in the village. It is officially recognized as the best traditional village for rattan & bamboo. Phu Hoa Trang (the former name of the village Phu Vinh) appears as specialized products of ‘NTFP’ non-timber forest products, such as baskets, and bags.

Tay Tuu Flower Village: Located in Bac Tu Liem district, Hanoi Province. Tay Tuu Flower Village is considered one of the biggest flower granary in Hanoi that provides a variety of flowers such as daisies, roses, purple heart-bells & colourful carnations. Visitors will get the golden opportunity to have a look upon the variety of colourful flowers & how the locals, carefully care for the flowers so as to make them blossom exactly in time for Tet.
Ngu Xa Bronze Casting Village: Ngu Xa Bronze Casting Village is situated in Ba Dinh District, Hanoi. Ngu Xa appears out as a small peninsula near Truc Bach Lake. It is located where various sophisticated bronze products were produced for the needs of the ancient capital of Thang Long. There is an old saying of Hanoi that goes ‘Glossy Silk of Yen Thai, pottery of Bat Trang, goldsmith of Dinh Cong, and the Bronze-caster of Ngu Xa.
